The EEC objective to bring about the harmonization and coordination of laws and practices
raises many difficult problems and conflicts of interest.
The Commission of the EC has therefore asked experts to effect studies on various subjects .
These two particular reports provide :
the first, an overview on changes in structure , conduct and performance in the insurance industry,
the second, a study on concentration, competition and competitivity in the electronics industry.
